The agriturismo "Podere Peciano" offers two apartments, located on the first floor of the structure, called "La Posta" and "L'Alloggio":
The apartment "La Posta" is provided with two double bedrooms and, if need be, it is also possible to add other beds. It offers a comfortable living room with a furnished kitchen and a large dining room.
The apartment "L'Alloggio" is in the older part of the farm-house. It is provided with one double bedroom and, if need be, it is also possible to add other beds. It also offers a little utility room, a bathroom, as well as a large, comfortable living room.
Both the apartments are provided with free internet broadband connection (DSL), as well as a relaxing area with TV-DVD and a fully equipped kitchen, where you can do your own cooking.
Outside the apartments there is a large portico, with a view of the farm and Valdichiana, where you can relax and plan the places to visit during your holiday.
Besides visiting the farm with its pets, livestock and cattle of all ages ("Didactic Farm" organized tour), there is also a lawn and large garden, where children (and...not only children ;-)) can relax and play far away from the traffic. The garden is also provided with two gazebos, tables, chairs and a wood barbecue grill, where you can rest and eat outside in the quiet of the country side.
The agriturismo is not currently organized to provide catering.
For breakfast, you can find farm products in a refrigerator, located inside the reception.
You can prepare your breakfast in your own kitchen with farm products normally available: freshly drawn milk, that has be boiled (to make it safe to drink), sugar, butter, in-season fruits and vegetables, eggs, homemade jam and coffee, as well as, on previous request, a cake, the cook's speciality.
It is also possible, on advance request and if she is not too busy, to ask the cook to prepare some typical products, according to the traditional Tuscan recipes, with fresh typical products from the farm.
The original structure of the place in which both apartments are located goes back as far as the high medieval age. Parts of the ancient walls, foundations and an enchanting gothic window are still there. However the site on which both apartments have been located has been settled between the IV/V century BC, as highlighted by the recent excavations involving many relevant Etruscan finds at about 300 meters deep.
